Dr. Haydee Lancman, a native of Argentina, was passionate about becoming a doctor since childhood. Not many people can say they found their true calling from such a young age, but Dr. Haydee did.

She attended and completed her medical education at the University of Buenos Aires, the best medical school in Latin America. After medical school, she trained for four years as a pediatric resident in a public pediatric hospital. She learned all aspects of tending to sick children, including making difficult diagnoses, prescribing the best therapies, and most importantly, explaining everything in simple terms to the parents. She believes that care doesn't stop at the patient, but carries into the families as well.

After moving to the United States in 1991, she continued her training with a three year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the very highly regarded Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She stayed at Mt. Sinai for seven years as a Professor of Pediatrics. She taught medical students, residents, and fellows the nuances of providing the best care possible to the patients and their families.

In 2002, she recognized that there were no pediatricians who were Board Certified in Adolescent Medicine in Stamford, Connecticut. She quickly filled that need for the community by opening her own practice that was an instant success. She has added two physicians to her practice to accommodate the ever-increasing patient load, providing the highest quality care that is expected while maintaining that personal, intimate relationship with each of the patients.

Her specialty interests include Adolescent Medicine, Dermatology, Endocrinology and respiratory diseases such as Asthma.

She currently resides in New York City with her husband, an Anesthesiologist, and her two sons. Her older son has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Education. Dr. Haydee's younger son is a doctor specializing in Hematology and Oncology. She enjoys traveling, biking, knitting, movies and books.
